After being involved in a last lap crash in the Shady Rays 200 at Kentucky Speedway, Justin Allgaier has been treated and released from the local hospital.

According to a statement released from JR Motorsports, the driver of the No. 7 Chevrolet was treated for a non-racing related issue.

“Justin Allgaier was treated and released from a local hospital early this morning for non-racing related medical purposes following last night’s event at Kentucky Speedway,” the statement read. “He will undergo further evaluation today before being cleared to race.”

Battling for position late in the event, Allgaier was involved in a wreck with Ronnie Bassett and Timmy Hill. The JR Motorsports driver was transported to local hospital for further observations.
